The old lira is no longer legal tender

The Syrian lira was redenominated 100:1 on 2026-01-01: 100 old lira = 1 new lira. Old notes ceased to be legal tender on 2026-07-31. Every figure here is in new lira. If you see a rate near 13,000 per dollar, it is quoted in old lira - divide by 100.
